On Thursday night, 2023 ATH Jonathan Pennix made his commitment to the Hokies official, choosing Virginia Tech over Virginia, Penn State, and others. The Concord (Va.) Appomattox County star joins a solid 2023 Class that ranks 44th nationally.

The 6-0, 175-pounder is a three-star ranked the No. 37 prospect in the Commonwealth for the 2023 class. Though rated as a cornerback, Virginia Tech intends to star him out as a wide receiver.
