VT in top five for Brailyn Franklin

Haymarket (Va.) Battlefield 2017 defensive end Brailyn Franklin has his top five schools, and Virginia Tech makes the cut.

Maryland, Penn State, Syracuse, and Temple join VT on his narrowed list. The 6-4, 200-pound Franklin is the No. 31 weak side defensive end nationally, but also has the ability to play a hybrid linebacker position at the next level.

Penn State is considered the favorite for Franklin, though all schools are still alive.
