Has your size changed at all?
Nah, I'm still about the same size and weight. I'm a lot stronger, but I'm still the same size.
What does your workout routine entail?
In the past, I've been working with a personal trainer up at Boo Williams. We've been working out, mostly until I started running track. I'm working on a lot of explosive stuff and speed drills.
When do you plan on reporting to Virginia Tech?
January 1, since I'll be grayshirting and enrolling at Fork Union.
What do you plan on working or improving on through this summer?
I just want to get the ball and make a lot of big plays, plus work on my speed a lot to get to Tech. I can catch the ball whenever it's thrown, but the game is a lot faster in college and I wanna be ready for that.
How would you describe your playing style?
I catch anything that's thrown to me. On top of that, I'm a big playmaker and I'm gonna make sure people see me on the field. For people who haven't seen me, if they ever do see me, they'll know who I am when they watch the game.
What are some of your goals for your freshman season at Virginia Tech?
My first goal is to start as a freshman and to get a lot of playing time. But I'm trying to be like a Sammy Watkins. I wanna make a lot of plays my freshman year. I don't wanna wait until my junior year for people to start noticing me. I wanna come out strong, finish strong with all-conference..
What player or team are you most looking forward to going up against?
I'm really looking forward to our first game, against Wofford in 2013. Then, a lot of people don't think ACC teams can stick with SEC and I know Alabama has a good class, but I don't believe in the conference changes. Football is football everywhere.
What's your favorite food?
French toast without question, from Cracker Barrel.
What is your favorite movie?
Beverly Hills Cop.
Who is your favorite musician?
Lil Wayne.
What would be three words to describe you?
Obnoxious, funny and creative.
If you could date any celebrity, who would it be?
Date any celebrity, wow? That's a hard one. Do I want a singer? Do I want a model? I'm gonna go with...Jennifer Lopez.
If you could pick a fight with any celebrity, who would it be?
I'd fight Soulja Boy because he hasn't retweeted me in any of my tweets. I love him as a musician, but he hasn't retweeted me and I'm really mad with that. He's retweeting everyone else.
What's been your most memorable experience playing football?
Probably playing overseas in Korea while my dad was stationed in the military there my freshman year. It was a great experience because they didn't have a lot of talent there. There weren't a lot of people, so I played multiple positions like kick, punt, be quarterback, receiver. They have a lot of games to travel a lot and play China, Japan and it was just cool.
