Just a few weeks ago, Virginia Tech hadn't offered Jersey City (N.J.) St. Peter's Prep quarterback Tahj Bullock.

Now, the Hokies may be the favorite in the three-star's recruitment.

Bullock, a 6-3, 215-pounder ranked the No. 11 player in New Jersey and the No. 13 dual-threat quarterback nationally in the Class of 2021, took an informal trip to Virginia Tech's campus this weekend. While the NCAA's coronavirus-mandated emergency Dead Period meant he couldn't meet with members of the coaching staff face-to-face, he still saw plenty to like while in town.

"It was great," Bullock said of his time in Blacksburg. "I really enjoyed my time there with my family."
