Morris made an early commitment to Florida State, but backed off it in November. He's still considering the Noles, along with several other schools, most prominently Georgia, LSU, and Oklahoma. VT is getting in the door a little late here, but the high levels of effort they're pumping into Georgia (and particularly the Atlanta suburbs) could pay off at least a bit. They should be able to get a group together for a visit during spring practice or over the Summer - and if that group includes Morris, there's a chance. This is going to remain an uphill battle, but the more VT works hard in the Peach State, the better the eventual returns are going to be.
