New Virginia Tech football offer: De'Von Graves

Virginia Tech has offered Appomattox (Va.) County 2018 athlete De'Von Graves. Here's a quick look at the player.

NC State (committed)

While Virginia Tech regularly raids North Carolina for talent, it's less common for a prospect from Virginia to head to a school in the Tar Heel State if the Hokies want him (particularly if that school is not an academic or football power). VT will have a year-plus to sway Graves, and should have at least a couple decent shots to do so. His position is currently up in the air - NC State took his commitment as a defensive back, but he also has the potential to play elsewhere - and that should work with geography to create an opening for the Hokies.
