A couple days ago, Virginia Tech offered Brooklyn (N.Y.) Canarsie 2019 defensive end Adisa Isaac. Here's a quick look at him.

Boston College, Michigan, North Carolina, Penn State

Prospects from New York City aren't plentiful, but often those who do come out are great talents, and Isaac is just the latest such example. He already has a few bigger offers, and that will only increase, so it's a good thing the Hokies got in the door when they did. However, he's going to have to make a visit to really give the impression he's serious about the Hokies (he hasn't set a trip yet), so it remains wait-and-see. He's also hearing from Notre Dame but the Irish haven't offered... typically they have strong pull within the five boroughs.
