New Virginia Tech basketball offer: Corey Walker

Virginia Tech has offered Hastings (Fla.) Bishop Snyder 2020 forward Corey Walker Jr. Here's a quick look at him.

Florida, Florida State, Georgetown, Ole Miss, West Virginia, Xavier

Walker has taken plenty of visits to both in-state schools, Florida and Florida State, and early in the process, they seemed like sure bets to be in the mix until the end. However, a prospect as talented as Walker naturally sees the offer list expand, and that's already begin to happen for him. Virginia Tech isn't exactly in the door early, but they should be able to at least get a bit of attention from him, and selling him on the system fit for his sharp-shooting abilities may allow them to become a factor.
