James Graham narrows to ten

Virginia Tech signed tight end Lecitus Smith out of Fitzgerald (Ga.) last class, and could gain another from the school in 2018. Purple Hurricane quarterback/athlete James Graham has narrowed to a top ten list, with the Hokies still in the hunt.

Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Miami, Michigan, Ole Miss, Oklahoma State, and West Virginia also make the cut for the 6-1, 180-pound three-star. Arkansas, Cincinnati, Maryland, and NC State have also offered but are out of the running.

The No. 14 dual-threat quarterback nationally and No. 3o rising senior in Georgia, Graham has potential as a passer but could also line up at a different position for his college ball. The Hokies have two quarterbacks in the fold - three-stars Quincy Patterson and DeJuan Ellis, though Ellis may end up at a different position himself when he gets to Blacksburg - so wide receiver or defensive back could be the plan if he continues to show interest in the Hokies.

Graham has yet to visit, but with Smith heading up to VT to begin his college career this Summer, there's a good chance the younger teammate makes the trip once or twice during the offseason.
