Jahad Carter is a Hokie

Henrico (Va.) 2019 wide receiver Jahad Carter has committed to Virginia Tech, becoming the Hokies' first pledge in the class.

The 6-1, 175-pounder picked VT over an offer from Temple. The in-state player is an unranked two-star, but the Hokies offered following a camp this Summer, so they've had the opportunity to evaluate him in person.

VT previously held a commitment from Virginia Beach Bishop Sullivan Tayvion Land in the 2019 class, but he re-opened his recruitment, making Carter the lone player in the class thus far.
