When Virginia Tech offered Ijamsville (Md.) Oakdale 2024 defensive end Dominic Nichols in -mid-January, he immediately wanted to take a visit.

He didn't have to wait long, either. The 6-5, 230-pounder made the trip down from the Frederick, Md. area for the Jan. 29 junior day in Blacksburg.
