Virginia Tech's Summer of commitments rolls along! Chester (Va.) Life Christian Academy 2022 DT D'Andre Martin has picked VT.
The 6-5, 285-pounder was initially a defensive end prospect in the Class of 2021, but reclassified and headed from his home in North Carolina to Life Christian Academy in the Richmond area. The growth in physique and technique earned him a number of Power-5 options, with Virginia Tech the first to show him love.
Ultimately, his choice came down to either Virginia Tech or South Carolina, and today he announced that the Hokies had won out.
