Chamarri Conner is a Hokie

Virginia Tech has its third commitment in the Class of 2018. This afternoon, Jacksonville (Fla.) Trinity safety Chamarri Conner gave his pledge to Justin Fuente and the Hokies.

The 5-11, 190-pounder is a three-star ranked the No. 21 safety in the country and the No. 54 overall prospect in Florida for the 2018 class. He joins Maryland quarterback DeJuan Ellis and South Carolina receiver Bryce Thompson in the Hokies' Class of 2018.

He picked VT over offers from Colorado, Florida, Georgia Tech, Michigan, and South Carolina, among others.
