Jaydin Broadnax, a 6-3, 175-pound 2026 defensive back from West Boca Raton (Fla.) High School with major ties to Virginia Tech, earned an offer from the Hokies on Jan. 26.
Tech joined the race in the emerging recruitment of Broadnax, and the Hokies could play a major factor for the athlete down to the wire when he makes his final decision.
That's because he is the brother of former Hokies' legend Brandon Flowers, a star cornerback from 2004-07, who was drafted by the Kansas City in the second round, enjoying an eight-year career with the Chiefs and Chargers from 2008-16.
