Virginia Tech's first in-state commitment in the Class of 2021 came in the form of Richmond Thomas Jefferson wideout Jaylen Jones.

The 6-0, 185-pound three-star picked the Hokies over a handful of other ACC programs and some mid-majors. Ranked just the No. 43 player in the Commonwealth, there's understandably some hesitance among fans to truly embrace him as the type of player who can be a game-changer at the next level.

According to Rivals.com Mid-Atlantic Recruiting Analyst Adam Friedman, though, at least one ability that Jones provides is one that's going to be exciting.
