Zach Luckett suspended indefinitely
As Virginia Tech continues to look for its starting receivers this year, the Hokies lost the services of one potential player in Zach Luckett. The 6-foot-3, 217-pound redshirt sophomore has been indefinitely suspended from the team according to various reports.
Luckett was suspended due to a violation of team rules in an off campus incident over the weekend. This is not his first run in with the law in the past few years.

The prospect out of New Jersey was listed as the starting flanker for Virginia Tech as recently as last week.
With his departure, Virginia Tech will likely look towards a host of other players including true freshman Dyrell Roberts who is listed No. 2 on the depth chart. Third string freshman receiver Xavier Boyce is also in consideration for playing time along with possibly moving redshirt junior Ike Whitaker over from the split end position.
AP Poll released
The AP Poll was released on Friday and the Hokies came in at No. 17 following the No. 15 ranking in the Coaches' Poll.
Virginia Tech is joined by fellow ACC teams Clemson and Wake Forest who were ranked No. 9 and No. 23 respectively.
