VT prospects in the Rivals250

The new Rivals250 rankings were released yesterday afternoon, with only a few remaining players of Hokie interest. Here's what happened to their national standing.

Turner dropped 20 positions in the national rankings, partially a function of having been ranked higher than his production (based on potential) coming into the season... and then missing much of the season, preventing him from rewarding that faith. He's already enrolled in Blacksburg.

Prospects

Hollifield dropped eight spots, which at his region of the Rivals250 is more a function of a handful of others moving up than his moving down. Virginia Tech is still putting the full-court press on, and he'll choose between Stanford and Virginia Tech (with North Carolina and Clemson still having an outside shot) on Signing Day.

Previously No. 204, Grant dropped completely out of the national rankings. The Tennessee commit didn't sign in the early period, and will make a final decision between the Vols, Hokies, and a couple other suitors by Signing Day.
