Has your size changed at all?
I'm actially 6'2" and I'm about 255 or so now.
What does your workout routine entail?
I have my core lifting like my bench and my squat. But other than that, I do a lot of dumbbell work, try to get my quickness up doing that. It's just body weight stuff.
When do you plan on reporting to Virginia Tech?
Well I'm grayshirting so I'll be up there in January. I don't have a specific date, but I think it's early January.
What do you plan on working or improving on through this summer?
Making the jump from high school to college, I just wanna make sure that I'm bringing the best athlete that I can and best player I can to Blacksburg. It's my bench and my squat, working on my strength and speed and working on my overall technique as a player.
How would you describe your playing style?
I like to think of myself as more of a finesse guy. I like to use my technique to challenge my game and my speed.
What are some of your goals for your freshman season at Virginia Tech?
It's gonna be nice to just get on the field. I think that's a goal that everybody should have, but that's realistic for me with this off-semester I'll have back here at home.
What player or team are you most looking forward to going up against?
It's funny you say that because my first game will be against Alabama. I'm kinda looking forward to that one.
What's your favorite food?
That's a hard one. I'm in a bit of a popcorn phase right now, so I'll have to go with that.
What is your favorite movie?
The Waterboy.
What is your favorite TV show?
Two and a Half Men.
What's the one song you're getting amped up to before a game?
Let's go 'Lose Yourself' by Eminem.
What would be three words to describe you?
Really hard worker.
If you could date any celebrity, who would it be?
(laughs). That's a tough one. Any celebrity? I have no idea. Let's go with Stacey Dash. That's off the wall (laughs).
If you could go toe to toe in the ring with anybody, who would it be?
Gosh, these are some tough questions (laughs). I'd like to go toe to toe with Floyd Mayweather. That'd be fun. I don't know if I could win that one but it'd be fun.
What's been your most memorable experience playing football?
I'd say just the camaraderie. It's just going with the team, being around the team and forming a brotherhood with my teammates. It's pulling together when you and your teammates need each other.
