Has your size changed at all?
No, I'm right at about the same size.
What does your workout routine entail?
Right now, I'm on the track and I'm workign on footwork. I've also been in the weight room lately. I've just been bench pressing, doing leg presses, leg work, squats and just getting bigger and faster all around.
When do you plan on reporting to Virginia Tech?
July 1. Well, I report then to start working on my classes, but I plan on going to the all-star game and I know that's the same week, so it'll be when I get back from the game. But I should be enrolled and everything July 1.
What do you plan on working or improving on through this summer?
Just getting my speed up for one, then getting stronger, getting faster and learning the game more. I wanna learn the defensive and offensive skills at Virginia Tech and get more acquainted with the playbook.
How would you describe your playing style?
I don't like talking about myself, but I'd have to describe myself as explosive. I like getting after the ball on offense and defense and I'm just hungry for the ball.
What are some of your goals for your freshman season at Virginia Tech?
I just wanna go in there, learn the playbook as quickly as possible. I plan on doing everything the coaches ask me to do and I just wanna give it my all, put in my work, go to practice early and leave late. I just wanna make a statement my freshman year so my sophomore and junior seasons will be a little easier. I'm just gonna go all out as a freshman.
What's your favorite food?
Chicken and macaroni and cheese.
What is your favorite movie?
I like a lot of movies, but I'd go with Coach Carter. I like Samuel L. Jackson in that one.
Who is your favorite musician?
I listen to all kinds of music, even classical. I'd have to say Anthony Hamilton.
What would be three words to describe you?
Focused, hard-working and determined.
If you could date any celebrity, who would it be?
Oh, Beyonce, definitely. That's my crush right there!.
If you could pick a fight with any celebrity, who would it be?
I'd have to say Floyd Mayweather, just because I like his style of fighting. Me going against him, I know I'm gonna lose, but hey, I'd go against him. Money Mayweather is my man.
What's been your most memorable experience playing football?
Just my senior season as a whole, I felt my team took a giant leap this year. We did some things my high school hasn't heard of or seen. I made it to the state quarterfinals and we lost by three points. It was just overcoming all the battles, fighting through and sticking together as a team and as a family. It was great.
