Has your size changed at all?
I grew and now I'm a little bigger. I'm like 6'4" and around 348-ish. My arms are 21 inches, man.
What does your workout routine entail?
On Friday, we did chest and traps. Monday, we did chest and bicepts. But we'll have our leg day, with quads and calves, then we have abs. If there's three of us, we'll do a set of three things, going around in a circle. We'll go in order, if there's five of us, too.
When do you plan on reporting to Virginia Tech?
Probably the first summer session. But we'll see where my points are. I'm taking the ACT and SAT one more time.
What do you plan on working or improving on through this summer?
I'm already big, as in college size, as in upper body and loer body. I just wanna burn weight. I could burn up to 30 or 40 pounds in a two-month span. But that's actually working on it every day, with cardio and stuff.
How would you describe your playing style?
Unexpected. It's kinda hard to describe, but explosion. My playing style is crazy. I don't know how to describe it. I don't what to call it. Disruptive, maybe?
What are some of your goals for your freshman season at Virginia Tech?
Freshman all-American, all-ACC, all-freshman ACC and I wanna get at least 30 tackles.
What player or team are you most looking forward to going up against?
Ohio State. We're gonna dice them down and I'm gonna slam their quarterback on his neck. I'm looking forward to Bristol and the Miami game.
What's your favorite food?
I'm a pasta person, but I like teriaki chicken.
What is your favorite movie?
I would have to say, "The Wedding Ringer."
What is your favorite TV show?
"Martin" or "Fresh Prince Of Bel Air."
What's the one song you're getting hyped up to before a game?
"Better Watch What You Sayin," by Rich Homie Quan or "Flex" by Rich Homie Quan. He gets me hype.
What would be three words to describe you?
Exciting, surprising and crazy.
If you could date any celebrity, who would it be?
I would go with the girl off of "My Wife and Kids." But no, I'd date Ariana Grande all day, whenever.
If you could go toe to toe in the ring with anybody, who would it be?
Wyatt Teller. I'm calling out Wyatt Teller on Rivals, every social network. He's gonna be the one who makes me successful.
What's been your most memorable experience playing football?
The good one is good and bad. I caught Reggie Floyd)'s screen and I took his touchdown away from him. It got called back because I'm a lineman. The ball looked like it was gonna be intercepted, so I caught it. I took it away from 'em, ran 40 yards and scored. The bad last year was Coach Doc's son came to our practice. We tried to show off, the linemen were. My pads are loose in practice and I'm trying to be comfortable. So I'm flipping the sled and the bottom of the sled hooked under my pads, I went up 15 feet in the air and I came down with the sled. My chest never hurt so bad in my life, but I kept practicing.
What's the one thing you learned from your recruitment that you would pass on as advice to a future recruit?
Don't forget that you're the coach when it comes to recruiting, when a school wants you. If they want you, it's up to you. You call them whenever you want. Don't let a coach try to stick with you unless they're 100 percent and they're always with you. Stay humble, be smart and don't forget who's watching.
