Has your size changed at all?
I'm about 240 now.
What does your workout routine entail?
The workout they gave me, I do that and then i do extra stuff. If I'm doing upper body workouts, I'll do more upper body workouts and stuff like that.
When do you plan on reporting to Virginia Tech?
For the second semester of summer school and that's in July.
What do you plan on working or improving on through this summer?
I'm just gonna try to work on getting back into the D-end position. I played linebacker last year, so I didn't get a lot of work on it. I'm gonna work on hitting the bag and punching it and stuff like that.
How would you describe your playing style?
Every play, I go all out. I don't take a play off.
What are some of your goals for your freshman season at Virginia Tech?
I just tell myself I'm gonna go up there and give it my all and whatever happens, happens. If I get redshirted, that's fine, but after I redshirt that year, I could do fine. I'm just gonna go and do it as hard as I can.
What player or team are you most looking forward to going up against?
Hmmm. There's probably three. I wanna play against Clemson because they're a pretty good team. They have Sammy Watkins and that quarterback. I wanna play against Florida State because they do pretty well. Then, UVA of course. The craziest part would probably be Georgia Tech because of the option they run. That'll be fun. It'll be a challenge because we'll have to pick up the offense and stuff.
What's your favorite food?
Mac and cheese.
What is your favorite movie?
I don't know. Maybe "Friday Night Lights" or "The Blind Side."
What is your favorite TV show?
Probably Sports Center.
What's the one song you're getting amped up to before a game?
Hmm. It's just gotta be some rap song. It's probably some Lil Wayne.
What would be three words to describe you?
I'm a hard-worker, determined and consistent. I'll keep going.
If you could date any celebrity, who would it be?
Ahh, that's a tough one. It'd probably be a Kardashian or something. I don't know their names, but probably any of 'em.
If you could go toe to toe in the ring with anybody, who would it be?
Man, these are some hard questions. Muhammad Ali when he was in his prime.
What's been your most memorable experience playing football?
Probably after we won our last game of the season and we knew we were gonna go to the playoffs last year. We hadn't done that since 1992.
