Has your size changed at all?
I'm 6'3" and my weight went up, to like 225.
What does your workout routine entail?
When I work out, I do upper-body during the week and I do lower body during the week, also. I do a little of everything.
When do you plan on reporting to Virginia Tech?
The first week of July.
What do you plan on working or improving on through this summer?
They're about to send me a playbook on my position. I'm just gonna study that and I'm working out now, but I'm gonna start hitting the weight room more and running a lot. That way, I won't be so out of shape when I get to camp. I'll be playing outside 'backer.
How would you describe your playing style?
Somebody told me I play like Taylor Mays a little bit. He's a safety, but I kinda like get to the ball like he does and hit like he does. I'd describe my game as, a lot of people just tell me that I'm good coming off the edge, blitzing, chasing down the running back, covering on the slot guy and getting to the tackle.
What are some of your goals for your freshman season at Virginia Tech?
I just wanna be the best I can be. I wanna work for the starting position as a freshman and do good on my academics. I'm just gonna push myself.
What player or team are you most looking forward to going up against?
I'd say Ohio State, just because that's the big team on the schedule. We play Miami, too on that Thursday night.
What's your favorite food?
I like pizza.
What is your favorite movie?
Friday Night Lights."
What is your favorite TV show?
"Martin" and the "Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air."
What's the one song you're getting amped up to before a game?
There's a lot I listen to. I have a lot of songs I switch out every week. I listen to a lot of Drake.
What would be three words to describe you?
Funny, outgoing and humble.
If you could date any celebrity, who would it be?
I'd say Amber Rose.
If you could go toe to toe in the ring with anybody, who would it be?
I'm gonna say Chris Brown. He likes to beat girls, so I just wanna beat him.
What's been your most memorable experience playing football?
When we beat LCA, which was my first time. Then, as a team, it had to be going to the playoffs.
What's the one thing you learned from your recruitment that you would pass on as advice to a future recruit?
Work hard every day, don't give up. Keep up on your grades and hit the books hard. Just keep your options open. If you get one school, don't focus on them. Just keep waiting to see if you get other schools. Don't just focus on one school until you really know what you wanna do. Then, talk it over with your parents and coaches and see what's the best fit for you. See how if the coaches have a good relationship with you and visit the campus to see how you like it. Just see what fits you, where you're gonna actually play. Don't go to a school because of the name or jersey.
