Has your size changed at all?
Nah, it's still the same.
What does your workout routine entail?
I've been doing bench, squat, power clean and wrapping up with shoulders, biceps and triceps. It's all the good stuff the ladies like.
When do you plan on reporting to Virginia Tech?
There's an orientation Friday and I'll move in Saturday.
What do you plan on working or improving on through this summer?
I'm gonna try to get a good handle on the playbook and spring football is gonna help with that. Obviously, I'm gonna try to establish a good GPA for my first semester and that's always important. Then, I'm gonna try to get int he weight room hard and put on a lot of muscle.
How would you describe your playing style?
I feel like I'm a versatile player. I can play any position on the line and I've played multiple positions my senior year. I feel like once I get locked on the somebody, they're not gonna make the play defensively.
What are some of your goals for your freshman season at Virginia Tech?
I'm not sure yet, realistically what I can set for myself just because I haven't been there, been around other players and the coaches. I'm just gonna go in there, take guidance from the coaches and weight staff and do the best I can.
What player or team are you most looking forward to going up against?
We've got Alabama first game next year, so hopefully we'll have a chance to topple that new dynasty.
What's your favorite food?
Have to be some loaded cheese fries. We have a local restaurant here on the campus of William & Mary that I'm really gonna miss when I go to Blacksburg. Outback has some good ones, too. I'll make it work.
What is your favorite movie?
I'd say "Lord Of The Rings." I don't know why, but grew up and watching it with my dad and brothers
What is your favorite TV show?
I'm not sure, I kinda watch a little bit of everything. I like "Sportscenter" a lot. Keeps me up to date. But being at home, out of school for a couple of weeks, they do run the same thing every hour.
What's the one song you're getting amped up to before a game?
"Down With The Sickness" by Disturbed.
What would be three words to describe you?
Three separate words or three words in a phrase? Well, two of them would be well-rounded. The third would be athletic.
If you could date any celebrity, who would it be?
Hmm, let's see. It'd have to be a tie between Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood or Grace Potter. How women who can sing, right?
If you could go toe to toe in the ring with anybody, who would it be?
I'm not sure. I'm not trying to call anybody out or anything, but I can think of a few names. We'll see.
What's been your most memorable experience playing football?
This season, it was a fourth down, we had a team punting and I blocked the punt and recovered and ran it to the 10 yard-line.
