What does your workout routine entail?
We switch every other Monday, but this past Monday, I worked on my upper body, then Tuesday was lower body. Wednesday and Thursday, I'm outside working on my feet. Next week, it'll be Monday working on my lower body, Tuesday upper body, then back outside.
When do you plan on reporting to Virginia Tech?
That's a good question. Probably late June or early July.
What do you plan on working or improving on through this summer?
Right now, I'm just working on my strength and technique. Everything else, I should have down pretty well.
How would you describe your playing style?
A lot of people say I'm smooth as a lineman. I don't really know what they mean by that, but I just go along with it. People just say I'm smooth as a lineman, like a receiver running routes.
What are some of your goals for your freshman season at Virginia Tech?
I know I wanna make all-conference in the ACC my freshman year. We'll see past that.
What player or team are you most looking forward to going up against?
Hmm, hopefully before I graduate I can play against Florida State. I know about Miami. My family will go down to Virginia, but that's the one I can look forward to them all going to.
What's your favorite food?
I'd say pasta. Chicken alfredo with linguine. my mom makes it, but I make it.
What is your favorite movie?
I've got two. I'd say, 'All About the Benjamins' and the 'Friday' series.
What is your favorite TV show?
The only one I really watch is 'Sports Center.'
What's the one song you're getting amped up to before a game?
Future, 'Peacoat.' I listen to it all the time.
What would be three words to describe you?
Good, better, best.
If you could date any celebrity, who would it be?
Kalea Alfaro.
If you could go toe to toe in the ring with anybody, who would it be?
Mayweather, man. He's just not big enough for me. I'll take him on, though. He ain't nothing. Everybody knows Mayweather's gonna beat Pacquiao, though. I just wish they would have fought in their prime.
What's been your most memorable experience playing football?
The best thing I've done was playing youth league. But just playing football in general, I just love the game. It's hard work. I also loved playing high school football as a true freshman, being able to play against bigger and better guys. That helped me learn more, helped me compete.
What's the one thing you learned from your recruitment that you would pass on as advice to a future recruit?
There's gonna be a lot of college coaches who come out. Take your time and make sure to take all your officials.
