Has your size changed at all?
My weight has changed a little bit. I'm about 255 right now.
What does your workout routine entail?
I do stretching, then I do bench, lunges, squats and things like that. I'm starting to do all my field stuff tomorrow. So that will change things up a little bit, with my field workouts.
When do you plan on reporting to Virginia Tech?
Coach told me I report July 4.
What do you plan on working or improving on through this summer?
When I get there, I just wanna try to work my way up and get into the depths of the system real quick. That'll give me an opportunity to know what I'm doing and then just try to work hard to be the man on the field.
How would you describe your playing style?
People compare me and I'd compare myself, well, I'm not saying I'm him, but I'd compare my game to Dominique Easley, who played for Florida last year. He's going pro now.
What are some of your goals for your freshman season at Virginia Tech?
I wanna try to come in and start ad make the all-conference freshman team. I just wanna make a big impact, be a playmaker on the field and just put out every game and make plays every game I wanna be dominant on the field.
What player or team are you most looking forward to going up against?
Miami. I guess you could say because it's the hometown team and I just wanna dominate against 'em.
What's your favorite food?
Chicken wings and french fries.
What is your favorite movie?
"Paid In Full."
What is your favorite TV show?
I guess, ESPN's "First Take."
What's the one song you're getting amped up to before a game?
Ace Hood and "We Outchea."
What would be three words to describe you?
Hard-working, dominant and I guess, I don't know a third one. I guess, respectful.
If you could date any celebrity, who would it be?
I would have to go with Lebron James' wife, Savannah Brinson or Savannah James.
If you could go toe to toe in the ring with anybody, who would it be?
I'd go against any offensive lineman.
What's been your most memorable experience playing football?
My last game, against Champagnat Catholic. That was my last high school football game and I had eight tackles, four for loss, two sacks, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery.
What's the one thing you learned from your recruitment that you would pass on as advice to a future recruit?
Keep your options open and never commit to a school because that was your favorite school that you wanted to go to, right away. Look into it and look into other schools, because when you think about it, growing up as a kid, you probably wanna go to that school. But once you get there, the atmosphere might not be for you. Just keep your options open and think about what system you wanna play in, if you have a good relationship with your recruiting coordinator or your position coach.
