Has your size changed at all?
No sir, I'm pretty much about the same.
What does your workout routine entail?
Mostly, it's weightlifting and then running. I'm trying to get a little bit faster, get my speed up and build up my stamina as well. In the weight room, I'm just trying to get stronger because I know that's one of the most important parts of being successful.
When do you plan on reporting to Virginia Tech?
I'm not sure, but it'll probably be in July.
What do you plan on working or improving on through this summer?
Really, it's the speed thing and then I'm trying to get mentally ready for college as a whole, not just playing football. Then, I just need to get in the weight room and get stronger.
How would you describe your playing style?
I guess I'd say I just work really hard no matter what. I just try to give it my all when I hit the field and in every aspect, including the weight room, classroom and watching film. I try to be as coachable as possible and make it easy to learn fast.
What are some of your goals for your freshman season at Virginia Tech?
Every day, I just try to get better. If I'm better today than I was yesterday then that's me moving forward and getting better. I try to get better every day and hope for good results.
What player or team are you most looking forward to going up against?
I don't really know. I'm just excited to have this opportunity. I'm not really stuck on one team, I'm just excited to play any team and excited to be at that school. It's a great opportunity.
What's your favorite food?
Probably hamburgers.
What is your favorite movie?
"The Longest Yard," with Adam Sandler.
What is your favorite TV show?
I watch Sports Center on ESPN all the time. That's really all I watch.
What's the one song you're getting amped up to before a game?
I really don't even listen to music before the game. I just need silence, really. I just sit there and think about what I can do. I don't really listen to music before the game that much.
What would be three words to describe you?
Coachable, hard-working and mentally strong.
If you could date any celebrity, who would it be?
Probably Jennifer Lopez.
If you could go toe to toe in the ring with anybody, who would it be?
I'd probably say Justin Bieber as well, like Ken Ekanem. But I don't know (laughs).
What's been your most memorable experience playing football?
Probably playing this year against Varina, our rivals. We were going in expecting to get blown out and we played hard, the whole team. We ended up getting the win at the end of the season which was huge for us. Our season was complete beating that team.
