Has your size changed at all?

I'm 233, i think. That definitely will most likely change when we get to workouts. My height has not changed. Some measure me at 6'4" and some measure me at 6'3 1/2."

What does your workout routine entail?

It's been upper body, lower body, then playing some basketball. I pretty much ride my bike to the facility. That's a workout in itself. I just started running gassers and suicides. I've been throwing and getting a little workout, too. It'll be a different routine.

What do you plan on working or improving on through this summer?

I would say my weaknesses, make them my strengths. Just overall, there's a lot of little things. I can't think of any specific things, but there's a lot of intricate things as a quarterback as a whole that I can improve daily. Whatever coach thinks I need to work on, that's what it's gonna be. Right now, I can't say. I wanna be a well-rounded quarterback on and off the field.

How would you describe your playing style?

I would describe it as definitely that God blessed me with legs to run. That's my mindset and that's my obligation as a quarterback, to get the ball to playmakers. I like to throw the ball a lot, but when the opportunity presents itself, like the play breaks down, I like to take off.

What are some of your goals for your first season at Virginia Tech?

The first goal is to earn respect of the players and get their confidence, get them behind me and let them know I'm the guy for the job, that comes with actions, not words. Also, just learn the playbook, pretty much be the coach on the field. I have individual goals, but first, it's the team goals, like going to the playoffs, not just my goals, but the whole team in general.

What player or team are you most looking forward to going up against?

There's not one in particular...I guess there is one in particular and that would be Clemson. I love the way Deshaun Watson plays the game and plus, they're hot right now. I guess that would probably be THE team. Of course, they're on the other side of the conference, but the other teams we play in our conference, they're no push-overs. All the teams, I'm looking forward to. But if one team stands out, it would be Clemson. I'm not overlooking anybody, though. I'm looking forward to every game, week in and week out.

What's your favorite food?

I don't have one. I like anything that tastes good. I just love food. That describes it perfectly.

What is your favorite movie?

I don't have one. I like a lot of them. I like action movies, not suspenseful, but action movies.

What is your favorite TV show?

I don't really watch TV. I don't guess I have one. I watch 'Sports Center' 24/7. I'm gonna have to stop that, though, When I wake up, I'm watching 'Sports Center.'

What's the one song you're getting amped up to before a game?

There's not one song in particular, but I like to listen to a lot of R&B before a game. It's soothing. It's like the quiet before the storm. I'm not a loud, bang on walls before games. It's almost bi-polar with who I really am. J. Cole, Drake.

What would be three words to describe you?

Three words...I really don't know. Competitive. What's the word when you don't start 'til you get what you want? I would say determined. And inspiring.

If you could date any celebrity, who would it be?

Ooooh, a lot of them. Let's go Katy Perry.

If you could go toe to toe in the ring with anybody, who would it be?

Muhammad Ali in his prime.

What's been your most memorable experience playing football?

High school, 10 seconds left in the game, fourth quarter, I threw a 55-yard touchdown pass to my little brother. Game-winner. Walk-off. Legitly walk-off. I'll never forget it.

What's the one thing you learned from your recruitment that you would pass on as advice to a future recruit?

I'd say understand it's a business. Understand that guys are out there just like you, who want the same thing as you, athletic as you. Look for the family atmosphere, with the players, not so much the coaches. If you go there for the right reasons, choose and follow your heart. It'll never lead you astray. But the biggest thing is understand it's a business.
