Has your size changed at all?
I'm actually at 182 right now, but pretty much the same height.
What does your workout routine entail?
Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, I do heavy lifting. Then, on Wednesdays, we do different drills, like catching, footwork and different drills to specify on certain muscles that I need to improve on or strengthen. When it gets warm out, we'll do a lot of field work.
When do you plan on reporting to Virginia Tech?
I think they said July 5 or something like that. I'll probably take a summer class or two or three.
What do you plan on working or improving on through this summer?
It's just everything as a complete back. I wanna work on my speed, size, gaining weight, catching, routes. It's just pretty much everything.
How would you describe your playing style?
First, I would say I'm smart. I'm pretty smart on the field and I can think pretty fast. I would say I'm pretty fast and have pretty good feet. I'm pretty elusive and I think I'm a complete back.
What are some of your goals for your freshman season at Virginia Tech?
Number one, I actually wanna play. I wanna play early and I wanna break the record there as a freshman, the freshman running record.
What player or team are you most looking forward to going up against?
Hmm, UVA. I just look forward to playing Quin Blanding. When he was at Bayside, man, that dude was wreaking havoc. We were going at it the whole game and there were a couple of times where I would get him. Then a couple of times, he would meet me right there in the hole. A few times I'd juke him and he;d fly out of bounds or something, so we were pretty much going at it, but I have the utmost respect for him.
What's your favorite food?
I'd have to say steak and chicken. Maybe some 57 on there.
What is your favorite movie?
I don't think I have one. I like action movies.
What is your favorite TV show?
When I'm home, when I do watch TV, I probably watch 'CSI' or 'Law & Order.' They're interesting. They make you think a lot. I like Criminal Minds, too. I watch every one of them.
What's the one song you're getting amped up to before a game?
I would have to say 'Work' by A$AP Ferg.
What would be three words to describe you?
Energetic, funny and dedicated.
If you could date any celebrity, who would it be?
Hmm, Christina Milian. I know you get Beyonce a lot. Actually, I may go with Lauren London. I'm set on that one.
If you could go toe to toe in the ring with anybody, who would it be?
Quin Blanding.
What's been your most memorable experience playing football?
I would have to say scoring in the state championship game as a freshman. I remember exactly what happened.
What's the one thing you learned from your recruitment that you would pass on as advice to a future recruit?
Just go where you're most comfortable. Be yourself. That's pretty much it, just be yourself, always be competitive and go where you wanna go.
