Has your size changed at all?
I grew, got taller to 6'4" now and the last time I weighed was yesterday. I'm 241.
What does your workout routine entail?
I kinda have a schedule that I'm working by. I have different body parts each day. I do biceps and triceps on Wednesday, then work on back on the next day. Then, I'll do legs and the last day, I'll do the abs workout. I do each body part in one day of workouts and I have a whole workout my trainer does for that body part.
When do you plan on reporting to Virginia Tech?
I wanna say the first week of July. I'm not sure what day yet. Either the first week of July or last week of June. I know classes start July 6, so I don't wanna get there July 5.
What do you plan on working or improving on through this summer?
I just wanna work on getting my technique better. I want my technique to be the best that it can be, like off the charts. I feel like at the next level, you need technique more than any other aspect. That helps you out with just about everything. I think that's the main thing I need to work on. I feel like everything else will come from workouts and everything.
How would you describe your playing style?
I would just call it versatile. I can definitely play the run and get my pass rush and get to the quarterback. It's just versatile and being an athlete, making plays.
What are some of your goals for your freshman season at Virginia Tech?
For my freshman year, I definitely wanna be on the all-ACC freshman team. I wanna try to be a freshman all-American and I wanna get at least 30 tackles and get five or more sacks.
What player or team are you most looking forward to going up against?
I don't have a team or player per se that I'm looking forward to. i just know I'm ready to ball against anybody we go against. I'm just ready to go and try to take 'em out. But Ohio State is the first game of the season, so I do have that. You've gotta prove yourself against the reining national champions. That's definitely a game I'm looking forward to.
What's your favorite food?
I'd have to say salmon. On the grill, in the oven, just about anything.
What is your favorite movie?
Aww man, probably "All About The Benjamins."
What is your favorite TV show?
Let's see. "Love And Hip-Hop."
What's the one song you're getting hyped up to before a game?
Man, these are some good questions. Hmm, could it be an artist? Alright, I'll just say Migos.
What would be three words to describe you?
In general or just football. Outgoing, athletic and humble.
If you could date any celebrity, who would it be?
Wooo, man. Jennifer Lopez.
If you could go toe to toe in the ring with anybody, who would it be?
I gotta go against the champ, Floyd Mayweather.
What's been your most memorable experience playing football?
Probably this year, when we beat Gonzaga (DC). They were ranked in the top 10 in the nation and I don't know what we were ranked, probably not in the rankings. Our whole fans stormed the field and everything. That was a good game. That was crazy.
What's the one thing you learned from your recruitment that you would pass on as advice to a future recruit?
I would tell them to enjoy the recruitment process, even though it might be stressful. Every day you're getting recruited, make the most out of it. You';l have a blast going to all the visits and building relationships. Once it's over, it's over, so make the most out of it.
