Has your size changed at all?
I'm about 6'4" and 265, about 15 pounds more. It's on there.
What does your workout routine entail?
They sent us a booklet for our weightlifting program. I do that workout and then I do my own stuff, like Monday is a chest day and I try to do an hour of cardio each day. I'm usually in the gym three or four hours a day and that takes up a lot of my time.
When do you plan on reporting to Virginia Tech?
I'm leaving June 22 to play for team USA (Note: Full story coming tomorrow). We're working with all the classes and I should be up at Tech July 8.
What do you plan on working or improving on through this summer?
I've just gotta stay in the weight room, keep on the cardio, keep up the football stuff an make sure I'm in tip-top shape so I can go in there and compete.
How would you describe your playing style?
I'm just old school and getting after it. I go until the whistle blows. I'm just a hard-nosed football player that likes to get after it.
What are some of your goals for your freshman season at Virginia Tech?
To play, that's my number one goal. Hopefully, I can help the team to some wins and in the long run, bring home a national championship.
What player or team are you most looking forward to going up against?
Oh, UVA because I've always been a Tech fan and that's the rival. It's gotta be UVA.
What's your favorite food?
Steak.
What is your favorite movie?
Hmm, probably Remember The Titans.
What is your favorite TV show?
Pawn Stars.
What's the one song you're getting amped up to before a game?
Oh, "Enter Sandman."
What would be three words to describe you?
Friendly (Ahh, man you put me on the spot right here), trustworthy and athletic.
If you could date any celebrity, who would it be?
Oh my gosh. I don't even know. I'll just say Rihanna. That's just one off the top of my head. I would never date a celebrity though because it's too much drama.
If you could go toe to toe in the ring with anybody, who would it be?
Brock Lesnar, just to say I did it. I probably wouldn't remember it, but hey. I could say I did it.
What's been your most memorable experience playing football?
Winning the state championship my sophomore year. We were playing on Virginia Tech's field and with three seconds left, we were up by three and they were kicking a field goal from the 10-yard line. We blocked it to win and it was crazy.
