Has your size changed at all?
My weight has changed. I'm close to 220 right now. I think my height is still the same though, about 6'3".
What does your workout routine entail?
We have a weight trainer at my school and he just has some stuff for me to do. I've been following the workouts they sent. but he tries to give me some extra stuff in the field and some stuff to work on my quickness and footwork.
When do you plan on reporting to Virginia Tech?
I think we're moving in July 1 or maybe before that, but we'll be there July 2.
What do you plan on working or improving on through this summer?
I just wanna get swole, get in the weight room and get bigger. I'm definitely just trying to get the whole playbook down. It's not an offense I'm familiar with because in high school we ran the Wing T. It'll be a big change and just the adjustment to the game but I have a while.
How would you describe your playing style?
I might not look like I can do something, but I can make a play anytime. I like to use my feet a lot, but I can also use my arm to get out of trouble. They told me I'm coming in as a quarterback.
What are some of your goals for your freshman season at Virginia Tech?
I wanna get better, in general, in everything I do. I just strive to be the best I can be.
What player or team are you most looking forward to going up against?
I could honestly care less. It doesn't matter who's in front of us, who we're facing, I just care about us being ready and the preparation.
What's your favorite food?
Philly cheese steak. I've got a couple of spaghettis too, but I just love food in general.
What is your favorite movie?
"Space Jam." Back when I was a little kid, I used to fall asleep to it all the time. Me and my dad would be watching it. It will forever be a favorite.
What is your favorite TV show?
I watch some TV. It's either ESPN or something like that. I do watch cartoons, like Looney Tunes, old school like Boomerang and Tom & Jerry.
What's the one song you're getting amped up to before a game?
I could not tell you one song. I listen to a lot of Drake, a lot of Kanye West, Wiz Khalifa. There's a huge amount of songs I listen to.
What would be three words to describe you?
Tough, determined and ambitious.
If you could date any celebrity, who would it be?
(laughs) That's a good one. Jessica Alba. I'm gonna go with her.
If you could go toe to toe in the ring with anybody, who would it be?
Floyd Mayweather. He's the best and I wanna go against the best, so why not put the best in the ring.
What's been your most memorable experience playing football?
I've gotta go with the state championship game. We ended up losing by two, but that season was probably the best I've had with just my class and we grew so much stronger as a team and as a class.
