Has your size changed at all?
My weight changed a lot. I bulked up to 213 pounds.
What does your workout routine entail?
I have a personal trainer at Crossfit and they mix in the Virginia Tech book with the actual workout.
When do you plan on reporting to Virginia Tech?
I'll be down July 7.
What do you plan on working or improving on through this summer?
It's just my upper body strength, like my core, my arms. I need to get that up, but also trying to keep my speed.
How would you describe your playing style?
I'd say I'm aggressive. I like to be around the line of scrimmage, wherever the ball is and I just like making plays.
What are some of your goals for your freshman season at Virginia Tech?
I just wanna try to get some playing time, try to move up the depth chart and possibly get a starting job towards the end of the year.
What player or team are you most looking forward to going up against?
Ha! the first game of the year, Alabama. It's gonna be tough, though.
What's your favorite food?
I'd say Chinese or Hawaiian. But nothing specific. I just like it all.
What is your favorite movie?
I don't have a favorite movie, but I think my favorite series of movies is "Transformers."
What is your favorite TV show?
Probably, "Family Guy."
What's the one song you're getting amped up to before a game?
I really don't have a specific song, but I have artists and playlists that I listen to. Usually, I listen to mostly DMX, though.
What would be three words to describe you?
As a person or on the football field? I'd say outgoing, aggressive and I'm not sure a third one. Let's go ahead and throw in athletic.
If you could date any celebrity, who would it be?
Probably Mila Kunis.
If you could go toe to toe in the ring with anybody, who would it be?
Hmmm, anybody? I'd say The Rock. Before he got bulked up for his new movie.
What's been your most memorable experience playing football?
So far, it was probably the regional championship game my junior year. We beat a team that beat us by 35 points in the regular season. That was nice.
