Has your size changed at all?
Actually, I've grown about an inch and I'm like 6-foot-7 now. I'm probably about 290, 295 pounds now, too.
What does your workout routine entail?
Lifting-wise, it's pretty basic, just the normal workouts they've given me. It's just all the basic muscle groups, like chest, back and everything. Then, I run like two miles a day, plus all the agility and explosion drills I do.
When do you plan on reporting to Virginia Tech?
I think it's July 1.
What do you plan on working or improving on through this summer?
Definitely my size an strength, as well as my quickness, so I can keep up with all those big D-linemen.
How would you describe your playing style?
I think I'm really explosive off the ball and I'm also a very tough player. I play until after the whistle. I think I'll be a tough match-up for some people.
What are some of your goals for your freshman season at Virginia Tech?
I just wanna learn the playbook. I don't think I'll get playing time this year, but hopefully, I'll get ready to play next year. I just wanna be familiar with the system and hopefully get on the field as soon as possible.
What player or team are you most looking forward to going up against?
I really can't wait to play Alabama my second year. That's gonna be awesome. It's just the chance to prove what kind of program we have.
What's your favorite food?
I eat pretty much everything, but I'd have to say pizza.
What is your favorite movie?
Wow, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby. I love Will Ferrell.
What is your favorite TV show?
Probably South Park.
What would be three words to describe you?
Laid-back, fun and generous.
If you could date any celebrity, who would it be?
Oooh, that's a tough one. Probably Kim Kardashian.
If you could go toe to toe in the ring with anybody, who would it be?
Probably the rapper, Lil B. He's so bad it just drives me crazy. He's just horrible
What's been your most memorable experience playing football?
My sophomore year, the last game of the year we were playing North Stafford and if we won we'd go to the playoffs for the first time in school history. I pulled around and made he lead block for the winning touchdown.
