Virginia Tech had a solid defensive performance against Boston College - and that may be an understatement. BC had four solid drives: one that resulted in a field goal, one that ended in the endzone, and two that saw the Eagles turn it over on downs. Outside of those, BC acquired 96 total yards on 11 drives (and 24 of those yards came on the final play of the game when the Hokies were willing to give up as many yards as the Eagles wanted, as long as they didn't get into the endzone).
