Virginia Tech's big recruiting weekend has borne its first result: Fork Union Military Academy running back/athlete Terius Wheatley will join the Hokies's 2017 class.

The 5-11, 165-pounder is taking a postgrad year at Fork Union after previously playing high school ball in New York and Michigan. His father is Michigan running backs coach Tyrone Wheatley, while older brother Tyrone Jr. is a sophomore tight end for the Wolverines.
