Virginia Tech is on a recruiting roll. The latest to join up is the first member of the 2019 class, Virginia Beach Ocean Lakes defensive back Tayvion Land. The 5-8, 160-pounder is expected to earn a ranking as one of the state's top 2019 prospects.

The Hokies beat out Maryland for Land's pledge, though given how early it is in his high school career, the Terps and Hokies certainly won't be the last two schools to offer.
