The 6-2, 230-pounder has faxed in his national letter of intent.

Recruitment story
Virginia Tech knew they'd need a long-snapper in the class, and they immediately targeted the country's best at the position. Shadley headed up for a Summer unofficial visit, the Hokies offered, and he immediately committed. Marshall and Oregon didn't stand a chance to pull him away, and he visited regularly this Fall.
Game breakdown
He's a high-velocity snapper of the football, and has the size and athleticism to get down the field and make tackles in the punt coverage phase, as well.
