Recruitment story

Virginia Tech was in the door very early for Harris, and built up the lead before many other contenders entered. He still managed to pick up an impressive offer list, but only consistently visited Blacksburg. After multiple summer trips, he finally committed at the conclusion of the Blacksburg BBQ in July.

Game breakdown

Harris is a tough guy in the trenches, even though it will take him a little while to build up the mass to continue that reputation into college. He plays right tackle for his high school team, but will slide inside at the next level, where his lack of elite quickness and athleticism won't be as much a hindrance. He moves people on the line, though, and should be able to bulk up while maintaining the athleticism to pull across the formation and be a major factor in the run game. His experience pass-protecting at tackle should help there.

Statistically speaking

Harris is an offensive lineman, and therefore didn't accrue many statistics for Mill Creek.
