Signing Day capsule: Hezekiah Grimsley

Wide receiver will be an important position for the Class of 2017, and one of the future Hokies hoping to fill that role is now official. Hezekiah Grimsley's letter has been sent in.

Iowa State, Marshall, Maryland (six total)

Grimsley's recruitment was a low-key one. Although Iowa State was the first school to offer in January, Virginia Tech followed not too long thereafter, and Grimsley pulled the trigger for the home-state school. He remained firmly committed throughout the remainder of the process.

Grimsley had 908 receiving yards, 12 touchdown grabs, and four interceptions on the year, plus a fumble recovery touchdown, four rushing touchdowns with 411 yards, and four return touchdowns.
