Signee trio to participate in International Bowl

Virginia Tech's Class of 2018 signees didn't wrap up their all-star game appearances over the calendar's turn to the New Year. In fact, three players who put pen to ink in December have an opportunity to represent their nation his weekend.

Linebacker Keshon Artis, receiver/DB Armani Chatman, and quarterback Quincy Patterson will compete against Team Canada Friday as members of the USA Football Under-19 National Team. The game annually pits some of the best graduating high school seniors against their brethren from the great white North.

Fans can see the three future Hokies on ESPN3 Friday at 8:oo p.m. An outstanding performance from them could help see a slight rise in their Rivals.com rankings before the final edition is released next week.

Patterson and Chatman are both 5.8 "low-four" prospects, while Artis is a 5.5 "mid-three" in the rankings.
