Quincy Patterson is a Hokie
It has seemed inevitable for a couple weeks, and now it's fact: Chicago quarterback Quincy Patterson has pledged to the Hokies.
The three-star out of Solorio Academy in the Wondy City is the No. 20 dual-threat quarterback nationally, and the No. 9 senior in Illinois. He stands an impressive 6-4, 220 pounds.
He is the fifth commitment and second quarterback in the 2018 class, joining Owings Mills (Md.) McDonogh three-star DeJuan Ellis at the position. His commitment bumps the Hokies' class to No. 18 nationally.
