New Virginia Tech football offer: Walker Culver

Virginia Tech has offered Chattanooga (Tenn.) Baylor School 2018 offensive lineman Walker Culver. Here's a quick look at the player.

Colorado (committed), Georgia Tech, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest

Culver consistently reiterates that he is committed to Colorado... while expressing gratitude and excitement for new offers that come in. While the Buffs are certainly on top, there's no question that Virginia Tech and others may have at least some shot to pry him away. With the proximity to Blacksburg (a five-hour drive is not insubstantial, but it's also a heck of a lot easier than a plane ride to Denver), there's a chance that he decides to stay a little closer to home. A visit this Summer is a likelihood either way.
