New Virginia Tech football offer: Tyler Rudolph

Virginia Tech has offered Oakdale (Conn.) St. Thomas More 2019 cornerback Tyler Rudolph. Here's a quick look at him.

Connecticut, Penn State, Pitt, Syracuse, Temple

A wave of New England offers has come in the past couple days because safeties coach Galen Scott is in the area and making his presence felt in-person at some of the region's top high school programs. That includes Rudolph's St. Thomas More, so at the very least his high school coach is aware of the effort put in. VT has been unable to convince many from the area to take a visit or seriously consider the Hokies yet, but with enough legwork, that should change.
