Virginia Tech has offered Alcoa (Tenn.) 2018 wide receiver Tykee Ogle-Kellogg. Here's a quick look at the player.

The Hokies have been trying to convince Ogle-Kellogg to visit Blacksburg for a couple months now, and have opted to issue him a scholarship offer to facilitate that trip, rather than giving it to him while he's on-campus. It's likely to happen now, but VT is still looking up at a formidable competitor in Tennessee. The Vols are right in Ogle-Kellogg's backyard, and he's visited Knoxville on a few occasions, naming UT his top school after the most recent. The Hokies have their work cut out for them.
