New Virginia Tech football offer: Tray Curry

Virginia Tech has offered Cleveland (Tenn.) Bradley Central 2021 athlete Tray Curry. Here's a quick look at him.

Virginia Tech is Curry's first.

VT is obviously in the door very early for the sophomore, becoming his first offer of the process. The Hokies have tried to put effort into increasing their footprint in the Volunteer State, something that they've found difficult despite several staff members who followed Justin Fuente from Memphis. This sort of move can help them make inroads there, since they've proven that they're not only paying attention, but invested in recruiting the state. It remains to be seen just how interested Curry ultimately is, but he has connections that should allow him to see campus along with other players from his area for a game this Fall.
