It's still relatively early in the process for Murphy, who counted Western Carolina as his only offer barely a month ago. That means there's plenty of time for the Hokies to sell him on their vision for their program and his potential fit in it. He comes from the Greensboro, N.C. area, and Hokie fans should recognize that as having been very kind to their program in the past couple years. With lead recruiter Charley Wiles on the case, VT should be able to make major noise in Murphy's recruitment down the road.
