New Virginia Tech football offer: Max Duggan

Last week, Virginia Tech offered Council Bluffs (Iowa) Lewis Central 2019 quarterback Max Duggan. Here's a quick look at him.

Georgia, Iowa, Kansas State, North Carolina, Ohio State, Penn State, Vanderbilt

Although he's listed as a pro-style passer, enough schools that use (even rely upon) the quarterback run have offered Duggan to give a better overall picture of his skillset: he can move, and certainly well enough for this VT offense. The Hokies aren't in the door particularly early here, with tons of bigtime schools and those in his home region already on the offer sheet. A broken leg suffered at the end of this season limited his late-fall visits, and the Hokies will try to work to get him on-campus during the offseason - though he's making up for a bit of lost time on the trail close to home, as well. Still, Justin Fuente's history with QB development should be intriguing for top-flight QBs nationally.
