New Virginia Tech football offer: Luke Tenuta

Virginia Tech has offered Crozet (Va.) Western Albemarle 2018 defensive end Luke Tenuta. Here's a quick look at him.

North Carolina, West Virginia, Cincinnati, Kent State, UCF

Although he's listed as a defensive end, Virginia Tech is eying Tenuta to play offensive tackle in Blacksburg (as are most of the bigger schools on his list). West Virginia and UFC has begun to build a lead for him, but with bigger schools - North Carolina and now VT - entering the mix, he's likely to slow the pace of approaching a decision for the time being. Tenuta's father, Jon, is a longtime coach with stints throughout ACC country, though he's currently the safeties coach at Cincinnati. VT will need to get the younger Tenuta on campus in order to make an impact on his recruitment - but at the very least, they have playing time to sell up front, with three senior starters on the offensive line.
