New Virginia Tech football offer: Larry Hodges

Virginia Tech has offered Tampa (Fla.) Jesuit 2019 tight end Larry Hodges. Here's a quick look at the player.

Virginia Tech is a major out-of-region offer for Hodges, who has long had interest in the Hokies. VT is putting effort into becoming player in Central Florida (with J'Bril Glaze coming from the area in 2017 and several offers in 2018), and getting in the door early for a player like Hodges could be an important step toward achieving that. Miami has been his longtime favorite, so the Cane jumped to the lead when they offered, but VT can get Hodges on campus this Summer to begin making up ground.
