New Virginia Tech football offer: KJ Johnson

Virginia Tech has offered Buford (Ga.) 2019 athlete KJ Johnson. Here's a quick look at him.

Johnson is a relatively unheralded prospect, but it should come as no surprise that the Hokies become one of the first coaching staffs to offer. They've invested a lot of attention in Buford High (a smart idea, given all the talent that comes out of it), with offers left and right to prospect in 2018, 2019, and beyond. Some of those - 2018 running back Anthony Grant, 2019 offensive linemen Riley Simonds and Harry Miller - have already been to campus multiple times. Look for Johnson to make his way to Blacksburg this offseason, which should really kick-start his VT recruitment.
